• Sponsored legislation for real-time budget transparency via OpenGov.
• Sponsored legislation requiring formal responses to public comments at Council meetings.
• Passed a strong ethics ordinance to ensure integrity in governance.
• Led a zoning moratorium to stop reckless development and protect standards.
• Regulated short-term rentals like Airbnb to preserve neighborhood quality.
2. Public Safety
• Increased the police force by 37% by hiring 38 officers and 15 firefighters.
